The Modsquad picked up where they left off against Jackson Lewis last season, winning it's third consecutive game against them; 11-7.
In a game marked by oppressive heat, the Squad put up four runs in the first inning to take an early lead against a team that seemed to be a shell of it's 2010 self.
Everyone that shared the name Chris collected three hits last night. Recent minor league callup Roger Swindle collected three hits as well.
Alfrin Vallejo continued his remarkable start to the season by adding two hits of his own, which was quite the accomplishment, because he spent half the game in his car, the other half keeping an eye on his son, and the third half playing excellent ball.

Kyle Bobek drove in three runs as he anchored the bottom half of the lineup.
The battery consisting of Todd Dias (the Squad's #2 Starter) and Robert Pezzullo kept the game moving along. Dias allowed only two earned runs and was sharp throughout the majority of the game. Dias was well rested coming into his first start of the season; he had 437 days in between starts.
Despite a forgetful bottom half of the sixth inning, the Squad looked sharp throughout the entire game.
