Inspired by manager Alan Brogdon's pregame email which reminded the team that it needed to win, the Modsquad went out and took care of JH Cohen; 14-7.
Modsquad shortstop Nick DiFranza showed little signs of fatigue after returning from a brief stint on the DL; DiFranza collected three hits, scored four times, and made a ton of plays at short to anchor a strong defensive performance by the infield.
As per usual, Modsquad ace "Big Joel" pitched the team to it's fifth win on the season, as the boys in purple now own a 5-3 record.
The Modsquad offensive was alive an well last night; Brogdon, Greg, and Joel also added three hits of their own while Iannantuoni, Klein, Vitale, Pezzullo, and Dias each collected two hits.
