The Modsquad can't seem to get out of their recent funk, losing three of their last four, with the most recent coming in yesterday's heartbreaking 5-3 loss to Jackson Lewis.

The Modsquad fared much better than their previous 18-15 loss against Jackson Lewis last week; the team was able to realign itself defensively to cut down on JL's scoring opportunities.

A highlight from yesterday's game was shortstop Nick DiFranza's return from a brief stint on the DL. DiFranza collected two hits, score a run, and made a handful of great plays in the infield.

The Modsquad squandered a bunch of scoring opportunities, leaving nine runners on base (six of which were in scoring position).

Chris Iannantuoni collected three hits in the loss and skipper Alan Brogdon and Todd Dias each added two hits of their own.
