It was supposed to be a rematch for the ages; Modsquad vs Two Four. Meeting for the first time since their battle in the 2008 semi final playoff game.

Sadly, Two Four didn't offer up much competition, as they were a shell of their former selves.

Modsquad bats awoke from their previous game long funk, piling on eleven hits and taking advantage of five Two Four errors.

Thanks to the team's new pitching combination of Pete Coletta and Rob Lucas and rock solid defense all around (only one error committed) the Boys in Purple were able to hold Two Four to one run over five innings.

Chris Iannatuoni had three hits and a walk, extending his consecutive at bat without getting an out streak to....honestly, its 11:00 at night right now, I'm really not going to try and figure it out.

It's a lot in a row, lets leave it at that.

Todd Dias snapped out of his 0-2009 slump by drilling two base hits, but as the team's shortstop noted, shut down in his final at bat because he didn't want to over do it.

Alan Brogdon drove in two runs, leading the bottom of the order that went a combined 4-8 with one walk, five runs scored, and five runs batted in.
